Position Overview:
Nexterus Inc. is seeking a highly motivated International Customer Service Representative. If
you are a reliable, energetic, team player with a strong work ethic, excellent written/verbal
communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and the willingness to get the job done, we would like to hear from you!
Role Involvement:
- Coordinating, tracking, verifying, and reporting status of international transportation,
following through to final delivery. - Communicating with all necessary parties accurately and in a timely manner.
- Compiling and validating all necessary documentation to complete Customs Entry.
- Following through to Customs release and follow all OGA’s that would pertain to the specific commodity insuring compliance.
- Prioritize, schedule, and route shipments international shipments from their origin to final destination.
- Gather, review, and verify international transportation related documentation.
- Prepare quotations and coordinate documentation between customers, vendors, forwarders, and brokers.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and operational proficiency to meet growth and profitability goals.
Preferred Education and Experience Includes:
- Associate degree or equivalent level of training or experience.
- Relevant experience in a Customer Service role or equivalent skill set.
- Basic knowledge of Customs rules/regulations regarding the Import & Export of freight.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining a positive attitude, organization of work and superior customer service.
- Computer literacy, with proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Proficiency in mathematics
- Knowledge of world geography.
