What to see at MODEX 2024

The great American warehouse building boom is over.

MODEX 2024 takes place March 11-14, 2024, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. The show brings together the entire industry to provide end-to-end solutions for supply chain operations. Over 1,175 of the leading manufacturing and supply chain suppliers will be exhibiting their solutions, which include traditional equipment to sustainability to workforce to automation, robotics, and emerging tech. With so many exhibitors, sessions, and attendees, we thought we’d give you some guidance on how to navigate the exhibit floor.

According to the MODEX exhibitor brochures, the buying needs of attendees includes:

  • 68% are looking for order picking, fulfillment, & ecommerce delivery
  • 51% – packaging, manifest, labeling, shipping, weighing, and cubing.
  • 51% – robotics
  • 58% – automation equipment
  • 80% – computer software
  • 61% – 3PL and transportation services

Speaking Sessions

A panel of supply chain executives from Chick-fil-A, Deloitte, MHI, Cook Medical, Cintas, and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville’s Haslam College of Business, will preview the 2024 MHI Annual Industry Report. Another panel will discuss the challenges and opportunities ports are facing in implementing emerging tech and digital platforms.

Actor, Jeremy Renner, will present a keynote, “The Heart of an Avenger: A Conversation with Jeremy Renner.” Renner will share his story as a superhero both on and off the screen as he tells Avenger tales and describes his miraculous recovery from a near-fatal snowplow accident that occurred while saving his nephew from the same fate. He will also discuss how, during his recovery, he launched the series Rennervations where he gives back by overhauling decommissioned public buses and trucks into custom-built vehicles for children’s charities. There are four other keynote presentations from UPS, MHI, and others.
