Nexterus is currently offering an exceptional career opportunity in its Sales Department for a self-motivated professional. The Account Executive is responsible for new business development. This position reports to the Director of Sales.
Job Functions:
- Focus on identifying and connecting with new potential customers – have a “hunter” sales mentality
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline of qualified leads
- Win multiple pieces of business per month in assigned territory (Kansas City metro area)
- Construct proposals and preliminary statements of work for prospective clients
- Assist in onboarding of new client engagements
- Demonstrate collaborative working relationship with adjacent department resources
- Establish best practices to ensure budget and time requirements are met
- Monitor and report on sales performance analytics
- Suggest innovative ideas to the Sales team to increase sales and improve customer experience
- Travel within territory weekly and to corporate office quarterly
Skills:
- Must live in or very close to Kansas City, Missouri
- Must have at least 2 years proven work experience as a sales account executive, or a similar revenue generating role, including experience presenting to C-level executives
- Possesses the ability to grasp clients’ needs and to increase customer engagement at each step of the Sales cycle
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment requiring efficient prioritization of a diverse workload
- A team player with a high level of dedication
- Strong written and oral communications skills
- Solid knowledge of CRM software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
